Aspects of the Closing Ceremony and Air Show at FAMEX 2023

Video from the channel México Aeroespacial y Defensa about FAMEX 2023 (Feria Aeroespacial México), linked on its Above Ten Thousand entry. Duration: 4:49. Language: Spanish. Video type: Air show.

The video gathers excerpts from the closing ceremony of the fifth edition of the Mexico Aerospace Fair, held in 2023 at Military Air Base No. 1 in Santa Lucía (State of Mexico), and from the air show that accompanied it.

After the welcome, the PA system introduces the Mexican parachute rifle brigade, made up of women and men, and a parachute team from the United States Air Force Academy, based in Colorado. The jumpers free-fall at nearly 200 km/h before opening their parachutes. They descend carrying the flags of the US Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Space Force.

The parachutists are the main focus: barely any aircraft are seen in flight.
