🔴 EN DIRECT LANCEMENT SPACEX STARLINK GROUP 4-35 ( Fusée FALCON 9 - Lancement spatial )
Video from the channel UFOTINIK about Falcon 9, linked on its Above Ten Thousand entry. Duration: 42:09. Language: French. Video type: Livestream.
What is being broadcast
Live broadcast, commentated in French, of SpaceX's launch of the Starlink Group 4-35 mission, in the early hours of 25 September 2022. A Falcon 9 lifted off at 1:32 a.m. (Paris time) from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral, Florida, carrying 52 Starlink satellites, about 16 t of payload. Before liftoff, the commentator explains the mission. The initial orbit was 337 × 232 km at 53.22° inclination. From there, the satellites were to climb under their own power, using krypton Hall-effect thrusters, to the circular 540 km operational orbit. He also describes the Falcon 9 (70.1 m tall, 3.6 m diameter, 538 t, nine Merlin engines on the first stage) and its triethylaluminum/triethylborane ignition system, which produces the characteristic green flame.
Key moments
The first stage was booster B1073, making its fourth flight since debuting on 15 May 2022. According to the broadcast, it was the Falcon 9's 177th launch, the 143rd booster landing, and SpaceX's 43rd launch of 2022, compared with 35 in 2021. The broadcast shows liftoff amid clouds, passage through Max Q and the sound barrier, main engine cutoff, stage separation, second-stage ignition, and the opening of the payload fairing, with the stacked satellites visible. From the ground, the first stage, the second stage, and both fairing halves can be seen at the same time. The first stage performed the re-entry burn with three engines and, afterward, the landing burn with a single engine.
Outcome
The booster landed successfully on the droneship A Shortfall of Gravitas, located about 645 km out in the Atlantic, despite rough seas. It was the 69th consecutive landing without incident. SpaceX did not broadcast the satellite deployment, scheduled for about 15 minutes after liftoff.
