Experimental single-seater with a 175 hp seven-cylinder Mathis radial, of which a single example was built and flew with the Patrouille d'Étampes; one source instead describes it as a 1965 project by Charles Renard with a 165 hp Continental IO-346.

The sources agree that only one SV-4D was built, but not on what it was. For the English, French and Dutch Wikipedias and for aviationsmilitaires.net it was an airframe re-engined with a seven-cylinder Mathis radial of 175 hp (130 kW), whose designation varies by source (G.4R, GR7 or 7G20); aviationsmilitaires.net adds that it was a single-seater, one of the single-seat versions the company studied, and that it flew with the Patrouille d'Étampes. The Dutch Wikipedia illustrates it with SV-4D OO-SRS, preserved at the Royal Army Museum in Brussels.
Avionslegendaires, on the other hand, places the SV.4D in 1965 as a project by Charles Renard from the same factory, with a 165 hp Continental IO-346 and a reworked cowling, wingtips and undercarriage, likewise a single example. Nothing in the material consulted reconciles the two descriptions, so both are set out here.
