Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann CASA 1.131E

The CASA 1.131E arose from the obvious advantage of replacing the German Hirth with a Spanish engine. From the 201st aircraft onwards CASA fitted the 125 hp ENMA Tigre G-IVA, an engine designed specifically for the Jungmann by the Empresa Nacional de Motores de Aviación. According to the Fundación Infante de Orleans and the Spanish Wikipedia, deliveries of the Tigre-engined aircraft began in 1950 and the orders were completed in 1963, with 330 aircraft built with the Spanish engine plus 30 converted from the earlier Hirth-engined ones. The German Wikipedia notes that, of the more than 550 CASA 1.131s, some 300 had the Tigre.

The CASA Jungmann Research Team describes the 1.131E as an improved version of the Bü 131-D2: a reinforced airframe to accept more powerful engines, a stronger tail and empennage —with seven ribs on the rudder and a redesign to withstand more abrupt landings—, a more streamlined cowling and an electrical system for a starter and other equipment. The Tigre came in six versions of 125 and 150 hp; the latest, capable of inverted flight and fitted with starter and generator, gave rise to the 1.131L designation. All existing earlier versions were retrofitted to the 1.131E standard.

The data sheet the FIO publishes for its EC-DAV, an example with the 125 hp Tigre, gives a 7.40 m wingspan, a 6.62 m length, a 200 km/h maximum speed, 180 km/h cruise, 82 km/h minimum speed, a 4,500 m ceiling, 400 km endurance, 450 kg empty and 720 kg all-up weight. It was the Spanish Air Force's primary trainer until 1968 and its last aircraft were struck off in 1988; Carl Bücker himself praised the quality of the Spanish-built Jungmann and Jungmeister.
