Eurofighter Typhoon Typhoon T1

Typhoon T1 is the designation under which the Royal Air Force identifies its two-seat Eurofighters. The Eurofighter is produced in single-seat and twin-seat variants, and the twin-seat variant is used for training, though it is combat capable: it is not a disarmed trainer but the same fighter with a second cockpit. ZJ800, photographed in June 2004 at RAF Waddington in the markings of No. XVII (R) Squadron, was the first RAF full production aircraft. British T1s have also served in representational and marketing roles: on 27 June two RAF Typhoon T1s left the United Kingdom for Singapore for marketing and training work. The RAF ordered one hundred and sixty Typhoons in total, all delivered by September 2019, across single- and twin-seat aircraft.
