Details shown

On the exterior, the video highlights the door, the widest in its category according to the video; smart probes that provide airspeed and angle of attack, with a backup pitot tube; the hydrophobic, heated windshield with no wipers; the pressure refueling point; the ventral rudder; the heated cargo hold of over 1,000 liters, and the ground power receptacle, designed to detach without damage if the aircraft moves. The empty aircraft weighs about 5 tonnes and its maximum take-off weight is 8,400 kg; each engine produces around 1,700 kg of thrust. The wing has a 27-degree sweep, engine bleed-air anti-ice and two-section flaps, and the main gear has a single wheel per leg. In the cabin, the video shows the mini galley with coffee maker and fridge, the swiveling, customizable seats, one-handed fold-out tables, control screens, the rear lavatory and improved acoustic insulation. Cabin altitude is around 6,000 feet. On landing, the video explains the ROAAS system, which warns of the risk of running off the runway, and the cockpit shows the Garmin avionics with touchscreens.

Context

The video presents the Phenom 300 as the world's best-selling light jet for 13 consecutive years, and as the fastest, longest-range and highest-capacity in its category, with a range of about 3,700 km, Mach 0.80 cruise and up to 11 occupants; it can be flown by a single pilot. Carvalhal explains that the oval fuselage section gains legroom and that Embraer brought its airliner experience into executive aviation. According to him, ROAAS comes from commercial aviation, and the Phenom 300 was the first executive jet to adopt it.
