History
The B-25B removed the tail gunner position and added a powered Bendix dorsal turret and a retractable ventral turret. 120 were built. Sixteen B-25Bs, stripped down and modified for extra range, launched from the carrier USS Hornet on 18 April 1942 in the Doolittle Raid against Japan, the first American air raid on the Japanese home islands.
