Günstigstes & teuerstes Ticket nach Dubai! Emirates First Class im A380! AeroNewsGermany
Video from the channel AeroNewsGermany about Airbus A380, linked on its Above Ten Thousand entry. Duration: 19:18. Language: German. Video type: Onboard.
What's covered
The video compares two Emirates tickets on the Airbus A380: the most expensive, in first class between Bangkok and Dubai, and the cheapest, in economy between Dubai and Frankfurt. The author occupies suite 1A, at the front of the upper deck, and alternates scenes from both cabins from boarding to arrival.
Details shown
The first-class cabin has 14 enclosed suites, with no overhead luggage bins, a minibar, a snack basket, a 32-inch screen and a side control tablet. The video shows the Bulgari amenity kit, the pyjamas, the caviar service with a mother-of-pearl spoon, the à la carte breakfast and one of the two showers in the forward lavatories. The shower slot is booked at the start of the flight and lasts 30 minutes, with five minutes of water; the hairdryer is operated with an Airbus switch like those in the cockpit. In economy, the video highlights the cabin's spaciousness, the adjustable headrests, the same entertainment system and a crew of more than 20 flight attendants of various nationalities, with announcements also made in German.
Context
According to the video, the first-class seat has barely changed since Emirates started flying the A380, around 2008, but it remains in good condition. The first-class ticket cost almost 3,000 euros and the economy ticket about 500 euros one way. Wi-Fi is available on board: all passengers get a free basic 20 MB package for two hours, Skywards members get it for the whole flight, and first-class access is unlimited.
