History
The F-4N was the result of a remanufacture program applied to F-4B airframes, with structural strengthening and updated avionics to extend their service life with the Navy and Marine Corps. At the end of their operational life, a number of F-4Ns were converted into supersonic remote-controlled aerial targets.
