Big Flamingo Missile Strike on Russian Rocket Factory in Samara! Only Soyuz Rocket Factory
Video from the channel Suchomimus about Soyuz (cohete), linked on its Above Ten Thousand entry. Duration: 2:43. Language: English. Video type: News.
Commentary on a Ukrainian strike with Flamingo missiles against the TsSKB-Progress plant, in the Samara region. The target is identified from later photos and videos showing at least two large columns of smoke. The author presents the plant as the only Russian factory capable of producing the Soyuz rocket. According to him, these rockets are not reused and are built continuously, between 15 and 20 a year, with barely any reserves.
According to the video, Russia uses the Soyuz to launch the Rassvet satellites, its national alternative to Starlink: it launched 16 in March 2026, 31 are active, and the goal is to have 292 by 2027.
The extent of the damage was still pending satellite imagery. If the plant were put out of service, it would slow down production of the launcher and the deployment of that constellation.
