H3-30 first launch

Video from the channel SciNews about H3-30, linked on its Above Ten Thousand entry. Duration: 2:49. Video type: Launch.

The video captures the first launch of the H3 in the H3-30 configuration. It was the test flight of the sixth vehicle in the series, carrying six small satellites on board. According to JAXA's commentary, it lifted off from the Tanegashima Space Center on June 12, 2026, at 9:53:59 Japan time.

It shows the end of the countdown, confirmation that all systems were ready for launch, the start of the main engines, and liftoff. Then come fairing separation, first-stage shutdown, stage separation, and the start of the second stage's first burn.

The video ends with that burn in progress and does not show either orbital insertion or payload separation.
