On October 11, 2025, the Chinese private company Orienspace launched its solid-fuel Gravity-1 rocket from a barge in the Yellow Sea. It was the model's second flight, after its 2024 maiden flight.
With four boosters 2.6 m in diameter and 600 t of liftoff thrust, the rocket carried three satellites into a near-polar orbit: the Jilin-1 Wideband 02B07, an Earth observation satellite, and two experimental internet-of-things satellites from Geespace.
About ten minutes after liftoff, reaching orbit and mission success were confirmed.
