The mission

Clip from a live broadcast by the Space Orbit channel, in Portuguese, about the launch of an Atlas V 551 on the Amazon Leo LA-06 mission, carrying 29 Amazon internet satellites to low Earth orbit. The commentator narrates over the official feed and answers questions from the chat.

Sequence

The Atlas V lifts off with five solid rocket boosters, goes supersonic and passes max dynamic pressure. The boosters separate in groups, and at the third minute the fairing is jettisoned, exposing the payload; an onboard camera shows Earth in the background. The first stage shuts down and separates around four and a half minutes, at about 5 km/s, and the Centaur stage ignites its engine for a burn that lasts until around minute 18. During that stretch, the official broadcast intercuts replays of the SLS launch for the Artemis mission, which the commentator describes.

Outcome

At the end of the burn, perigee turns positive, the engine shuts down and the stage is left in a near-circular orbit, which the reaction control system then fine-tunes. Satellite separation is scheduled for around mission minute 21 and is not shown.
