The pre-launch coverage goes over what SpaceX was after with this mission: the second flight of a V3 Starship and the deployment of the first operational Starlink V3 satellites, on another sub-orbital profile with objectives close to Flight 12's and full reuse as the longer-term goal.

SpaceX aborted Flight 13 of its giant Starship rocket at the last second on Thursday (July 16). The company is now targeting July 23 for the liftoff.

The company didn't immediately say what went wrong. SpaceX's stock plunged more than 4% in after-hours trading before paring losses.
