Hudner lands his Corsair beside Jesse Brown's in Korea

On 4 December 1950, near the Chosin Reservoir, Ensign Jesse L. Brown of VF-32 (USS Leyte) went down in his Corsair, hit by Chinese ground fire. Lt. (j.g.) Thomas Hudner deliberately crash-landed his own Corsair on the snowy mountainside to try to reach him and received the Medal of Honor.
