Escadron de Chasse 1/7 forms the French Air Force's first operational unit

After the French Air Force received its first three F2-standard Rafale Bs in April 2005 at the CEAM at Mont-de-Marsan, Escadron de Chasse 1/7 «Provence», based at Saint-Dizier, formed the type's first operational Air Force squadron in June 2006.
