FAMEX 2021 ¿Qué tal estuvo el espectáculo aéreo?

Video from the channel VGEzone Sports about FAMEX 2021 (Feria Aeroespacial México), linked on its Above Ten Thousand entry. Duration: 14:10. Language: Spanish. Video type: Air show.

Recording of the air show at the fourth edition of the Mexico Aerospace Fair, in 2021, with the official commentary in the background. Units of the Mexican armed forces take part, among them the Paratrooper Fusilier Brigade.

The programme opens with a paratrooper jump. The commentator explains that they wear the red beret that identifies paratrooper units around the world and that they train on courses in Mexico and abroad, in countries such as Germany, Russia, the United States, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Panama and Guatemala. Helicopters fitted with stretchers and internal cargo are then shown, with a reminder of their role in rescue work after natural disasters and in fighting forest fires. A formation flying display follows, in which the aircraft hold their positions and even form a circle, something the commentator says requires great coordination and trust between the pilots.

The closing act is performed by the formation team, with a final manoeuvre that traces a flower in the sky. The commentator signs off until the next edition, planned for 2023.
