Two-class, 105-seat configuration used on the Moscow-Tokyo route jointly operated by Aeroflot and Japan Airlines, carrying JAL markings on the forward fuselage.

History
The arrangement between the two carriers was unusual: the flight crew included one JAL member and the cabin crew was split evenly, five attendants from each airline. The first flight took place on 17 April 1967. The aircraft wore a small Japan Airlines logo and lettering alongside the Aeroflot colours. The partnership ended in 1969 when the Ilyushin Il-62 took the route over, and the four aircraft involved reverted to the 200-seat domestic interior.
