History

The F-4EJ, derived from the F-4E, introduced the AN/APG-66J pulse-doppler radar and ground-attack capability with the ASM-1 anti-ship missile; it was largely produced under license in Japan by Mitsubishi. A number of airframes were converted to the electronic-warfare training configuration.
