Introducing The CASA C 212 Aviocar
Video from the channel AeroSkyCity about CASA C-212 Aviocar, linked on its Above Ten Thousand entry. Duration: 2:51. Language: English. Video type: Documentary.
A brief educational piece, narrated over footage, introducing the CASA C-212 Aviocar: high wing, square-section fuselage, conventional tail and fixed tricycle landing gear, with capacity for 21 to 28 passengers depending on configuration.
Being unpressurized, as an airliner it is limited to flights below about 10,000 feet (3,000 m), which makes it suitable for short routes and regional services.
It is used as a transport, for surveillance, search and rescue, and cloud seeding to induce rain, both by charter companies and air forces. The United States Army's Special Operations Command uses it under the designation C-41A.
