Narrated piece about the launch of the ChinaSat 1D communications satellite aboard a Long March 3B. It lifted off from the Xichang center, in Sichuan province, on Friday 26 November 2021 (US Eastern time), in a launch carried out by CASC.

Over footage of the night launch, the narrator describes the launcher: three stages plus an optional fourth, and four 16.1 m boosters each with a YF-25 engine (740 kN). The first stage fits four YF-21C engines (2,960 kN), the second a YF-22E, and the third two YF-75 engines burning liquid hydrogen and oxygen.

The satellite reached its planned geostationary orbit. It was China's 47th orbital launch of the year and the 399th of the Long March family.
