Video from the channel International Rocket Launches about Ariane 64, linked on its Above Ten Thousand entry. Duration: 8:50. Language: French. Video type: Launch.

The mission

Footage, with Arianespace imagery, of the launch of an Ariane 64 carrying satellites of the Amazon Leo constellation on the LE-03 mission. The audio is that of the launch control announcements, in French.

Sequence

After the countdown, the solid rocket boosters ignite and the rocket lifts off. Launch control repeatedly reports nominal thrust and trajectory and a steady flight, passage through the transonic regime and, around three and a half minutes in, payload fairing separation. While the Vulcain engine of the main stage is running, the two-minutes and final-minute-of-burn-remaining calls are made, along with telemetry acquisition by a tracking station. Then come Vulcain shutdown and the first ignition of the Vinci engine on the upper stage, followed by the start of the so-called "barbecue" roll mode.

Outcome

Until the end of the footage, during the upper-stage phase, all reported parameters are nominal. The video ends before the satellites are released.
