NASA informational film shot before the Gemini 5 flight, two and a half months after Edward White's spacewalk. It features Gordon Cooper, whose 22-orbit flight closed out Project Mercury, and Charles Conrad, who joined the space program in September 1962. It shows their training: the centrifuge, survival training, egress from the capsule in water, and the mission simulator. It also explains the experiments planned for the eight-day flight: the 76-pound Rendezvous Evaluation Pod, which would serve as a target in place of the Agena; photography; the hydrogen-oxygen fuel cells; and a visual acuity test using rectangular patterns laid out on the ground in Australia and in Laredo, Texas.
