The An-225 joins the COVID-19 pandemic relief airlift

When the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in early 2020, the An-225 joined the relief effort with flights carrying medical supplies from China to other parts of the world. Its last commercial mission, from 2 to 5 February 2022, was also medical: almost 90 tonnes of COVID-19 test kits from Tianjin to Billund, Denmark.
