Láser DC-3 crashes near San Carlos de Guaroa

A DC-3 of Colombian carrier Láser lost an engine on the San José del Guaviare-Villavicencio route. Controllers were guiding it to the nearest runway when contact was lost; the wreck was found at La Bendición, San Carlos de Guaroa. Twelve people died: 9 passengers and 3 crew.
