A South Korean F-35A makes a belly landing at Seosan

A Republic of Korea Air Force F-35A landed without its undercarriage at Seosan air base after a bird strike disabled much of its flight electronics. The pilot was unhurt. South Korea temporarily grounded its fleet and eventually withdrew the aircraft from service, the repair being judged economically unviable.
