Did you know…
How many Type D fighters did Aviatik actually mass-produce?
Short answer
Very few: two D.III aircraft were delivered in 1917, and low-rate production continued after the war ended, in November 1918. Aviatik reported eleven partially finished D.III aircraft to the Inter-Allied Aeronautical Commission of Control. Only one example each of the D.II and D.IV was ever built.

The D.III and its low-rate production
Two Aviatik D.III aircraft were delivered in 1917. Low-rate production continued even after the war ended, in November 1918. Aviatik reported to the Inter-Allied Aeronautical Commission of Control that it had eleven partially finished D.III aircraft.
Prototypes that never reached series production
Only one D.II was built, and no production order ever followed. That prototype's performance was mediocre, and series manufacture was never ordered. One D.IV was built. The D.V was a fighter prototype built in Germany in 1918 that was not selected for production. Little is known about that aircraft today, and no photograph of it survives. The single D.VI prototype first flew in mid-1918, but it was not put into production because the Aviatik D.VII had better performance.
