Great New England Air Show 2027

Two legends in one sky: the Air Force Thunderbirds and the US Navy Blue Angels will share the bill at the Great New England Air Show 2027, the first hosted by Westover Air Reserve Base since 2018. The organiser sums it up with the slogan "Two legends. One sky."
The dates are 22-23 May 2027 at Westover, in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The announcement came from the Westover Galaxy Community Council in December 2025, and the Navy squadron already lists the show in its official 2027 schedule. The benchmark the organiser sets itself is the July 2018 show, which drew some 60,000 spectators, closed each day with the Thunderbirds and boasted a static display unprecedented in the region, with two F-35 Lightning IIs, the A-10s and a C-17 Globemaster III; nine years on, the novelty is having both national teams on the same programme. Ticket details, prices and the civilian line-up have yet to be published.
