CityNews report on the preparations for the Canadian International Air Show, held during the last weekend of Toronto's CNE fair, from September 5 to 7, with 15 acts and 77 years at the CNE.

The Snowbirds are marking their 55th year at the show and their final season with the CT-114 Tutor, a version of the Canadair CL-41 built in Cartierville (Montreal) between roughly 1963 and 1965; the team plans to return with a different aircraft. Each day they will close the program at 3:00 p.m.

The organization, with about 150 volunteers, coordinates the airspace with Pearson and Billy Bishop airports. Fighter pilots also take part, along with a pink aerobatic plane dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness and encouraging women to fly.
