Event and team
Personal account of a visit to Aero India 2025 at Yelahanka Air Force Station, presented as Asia's leading aerospace and defence show. The United States, France, Israel, Australia, the United Kingdom and other countries took part, alongside Indian public bodies and companies such as DRDO, ISRO, HAL and BEL, plus numerous private firms.
What's shown
First, the exhibition halls, with models of aircraft, drones, missiles, weapons, rockets, communications equipment, radars and other aerospace components. One of the attractions was the AMCA, India's fifth-generation stealth fighter, and a working flight simulator also appears. Then comes the static display on the taxiway, with transport and fighter aircraft, helicopters and airborne early warning aircraft from India, the United States, Russia, France, Brazil and Germany. Most of the video is footage of the flying display set to music.
The aircraft on display
The flying display featured the domestically developed Tejas Mk 1A, the Su-30 and the Surya Kiran aerobatic team, which left smoke trails. The highlight was seeing the American F-35 and the Russian Su-57 together, both making their Aero India debut.
