Video from the channel Ross Forster-Fraser about Fokker F28 Fellowship, linked on its Above Ten Thousand entry. Duration: 4:35. Language: English. Video type: Documentary.

Brief presentation in which the author reads out, over footage of the aircraft, the technical specifications of the Fokker F28 Fellowship, the Dutch regional jet from which the Fokker 70 and 100 were derived.

It covers the chronology: the prototypes' first flights on 9 May and 3 August 1967, certification and first delivery to the German charter airline LTU on 24 February 1969, and the first flight of the stretched Mk 4000 on 20 October 1976. It places it as Fokker's first jet, a complement to the F27 turboprop.

The figures correspond to the Mk 4000: two 9,900 lb Rolls-Royce RB183 turbofans, up to 85 passengers at five abreast, a 25.07 m wingspan, a 29.61 m length and a 33,110 kg maximum take-off weight. Sales totalled 190 units by the end of 1982.
