Milestone — On 5 August 1950, Major Louis J. Sebille of the 67th Fighter-Bomber Squadron attacked a North Korean armored column with his F-51 during the Battle of Pusan Perimeter; heavily damaged and wounded, he deliberately crashed his aircraft into the convoy and was killed, later receiving the Medal of Honor posthumously.
