Willow Run reaches one B-24 Liberator every 63 minutes

In April 1944, Ford's Willow Run plant in Michigan reached its peak B-24 Liberator production rate: two nine-hour shifts, six days a week, turned out 453 aircraft in 468 hours — an average of one completed B-24 every 63 minutes, and up to 650 units a month at its height.
