Australia's first two F-35A arrive at Williamtown

F-35As A35-009 and A35-010, of No. 3 Squadron Royal Australian Air Force, landed at Williamtown in New South Wales a week after leaving Luke Air Force Base. Australia became the seventh nation with Lightning IIs stationed on its own soil. The country had approved the first batch in 2009 and confirmed the full seventy-two aircraft in 2014.
