Fokker F.I prototypes delivered to the front

Two F.I pre-production triplanes, closely based on the V.5, arrived at Markebeeke, Belgium, for combat evaluation with Jastas 10 and 11. Manfred von Richthofen first flew his on 1 September and scored his first two triplane victories in it.
