Su-57 deployment to Khmeimim air base (Syria)

On 21 February 2018, two Su-57s made their first international flight, landing at the Russian Khmeimim air base in Syria, with further aircraft arriving in the following days. This was the type's first known deployment to an active theatre, used by Russia to test its systems under combat conditions.
